Born April 1994, in Costa Rica. Everything below really happened — the kitchens, the failure, the nights of study. I'm telling it in order, without shortcuts.
My first job, at a small cheese dairy. I was still a minor, so everything was informal. That's where work started for me — early.
Nine months washing dishes, then four months in sales. I saved what I could from every paycheck, without knowing yet what it was for.
I used those savings to open a small screen-printing shop. It lasted less than six months. I was nineteen, with no experience and little schooling. It hurt, and it taught me what losing feels like.
So I went back to the kitchen. Dishes again, then kitchen assistant, then pastry — the same trade my mother and father worked their whole lives.
In my free hours I started studying trading. Nobody taught me and there was no academy — just me after my shifts, learning one piece at a time.
Studying alone · HomeI moved to Guanacaste to work at Barceló Playa Langosta. That's also the year I discovered Bitcoin and crypto. Two doors opened at the same time, and I walked through both.
The Westin Reserva Conchal, Four Seasons, JW Marriott. I was finally studying to be a chef, formally, while working the line. Shifts of 12 to 14 hours, then 4 to 6 more of study. I won't romanticize it — it was exhausting. It also made me who I am.
The brigade
Banquet serviceWhen the pandemic closed the kitchens, El Mangroove, Autograph Collection, turned out to be my last job as a chef. I decided not to wait for the industry to come back: I started Smart Profit Investment — trading and crypto mining for a small private network — with everything those five years of night study had given me.
The first mining rigsThe operation grew: Panama in 2021, Mexico in 2022, Brazil and the UAE in 2023. That last year I also started a property-tokenization company in Costa Rica. Those years moved very fast.

I spent the first half of the year getting back on my feet. Honestly, just that. The second half I studied AI as if it were my job. Near the end I started building again with a technical partner, but that project didn't make it.
In April I stopped waiting and started engineering a markets platform myself. On May 8, 2026 I rebuilt the agent platform from zero — my code, my hours. Both are running today.
I'm building three AI systems right now. Out of respect for the work, the names stay private until launch.
